Four straight arms extend from a slim central rod in this chandelier, each topped with a small, tapered linen shade. The bronze finish and simple lines give it a quiet, tailored look, while the linen softens the light from the four bulbs into a warm, even glow. It sits well above a dining table, a kitchen island or in a bedroom where a crystal chandelier would feel too formal.

    Care

Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid water, sprays and cleaning products, which can mark metal finishes, glass and stone.

Alabaster is a soft natural stone, so its veining, small inclusions and slight colour differences are part of its character and no two pieces are exactly alike.

    Fitting & bulbs

Ceiling and wall lights that are wired into the mains should be installed by a qualified electrician, in line with UK wiring regulations.

Always switch off the power before fitting the light or changing a bulb, and never exceed the maximum bulb wattage stated for your light. A warm white LED bulb (2700K to 3000K) gives a soft, warm glow.

Bright by Day, Calm by Night

Bright by Day, Calm by Night

Picture the end of the day: curtains drawn, a book in your lap, four linen shades lit above you. Fabric shades cover each bulb, so the chandelier has the familiar, gentle look of a table lamp, raised to ceiling height. It's a light for winding down rather than getting things done.

For People Who Don't Want Crystal

For People Who Don't Want Crystal

No drops, no curls, no gilt. Just four straight arms, one slim rod and plain linen shades in dark bronze. It reads as considered rather than decorative, which makes it an easy fit for a cottage, a city flat or a newly renovated room, wherever you want a chandelier that doesn't announce itself.

Over the Table, the Island or the Bed

Over the Table, the Island or the Bed

At 91.4cm wide, it suits a dining table, a kitchen island, or a bedroom where crystal would feel too dressed up. It takes four E27 bulbs, a standard screw fitting, sold separately so you can choose the bulbs you prefer.

    Questions about chandeliers

    Are bulbs included?

No. Each chandelier takes candelabra-style bulbs, and the number and fitting are listed in its specifications. Most of our chandeliers use E14 bulbs, and one uses E27. For a soft, warm glow, we recommend warm white LED bulbs (2700K to 3000K).

    Does it need an electrician?

Yes. Our chandeliers are hardwired into the ceiling, so they should be installed by a qualified electrician in line with UK wiring regulations.

    How low will it hang?

Each chandelier hangs on either a chain or a rod, as shown in its specifications. For rod-hung pieces, the height listed is the minimum, with the shortest drop. If you need it to hang at a particular height, email us before ordering and we'll confirm what's possible.

What size chandelier suits my room?

A simple guide: add your room's length and width in metres, then multiply by 10. That's roughly the chandelier width in centimetres that will suit the room. Over a dining table, choose one about half to two-thirds the width of the table, and allow around 75 to 90cm between the tabletop and the bottom of the chandelier.

    How do I clean it?

Switch it off and let the bulbs cool first. Then dust it with a soft, dry cloth. Don't use solvents or abrasive cleaners, and take extra care with glass and crystal.
