Curved Panel Alabaster Pendant Light

Four gently bowed alabaster panels overlap in a loose spiral around the light inside this sculptural pendant. Small brass-finish pins hold them in place and are the only visible fixings, so the stone reads as one gesture rather than an assembly. It looks best where it can be seen from more than one side, hung singly beside a stair, as a pair above a console, or in a loose cluster at staggered heights through a stairwell. Because the panels overlap rather than enclose, the light is thrown outwards in soft vertical bands. It works against strong wall colour or plaster.
