Stacked Alabaster Table Lamp Black Base

This table lamp gathers three alabaster forms into a single column on a plain black cylindrical base. A full sphere crowns a softly flattened band, which rests on a shallow dome, and every piece has its own drift of veining, so the stack reads as three related stones rather than one turned shape. Its narrow footprint takes very little room on a bedside table, dressing table, study desk or the end of a dining sideboard. When lit, the stone glows from within and the seams between the forms become the brightest lines on the lamp.
