A gold-finish rod drops to a horizontal bar with an arm at each end, each carrying a white cone shade. The traditional, slightly vintage shape suits a kitchen island or dining table.

It is 102cm wide, 23cm deep and 30cm tall, plus an adjustable suspension rod. Choose aluminium shades or ceramic shades (ceramic lets some light through). It takes two E27 bulbs, not included.

Switch the light off and let it cool before cleaning. Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid water, sprays and cleaning products, which can mark metal finishes, wood, fabric, glass and stone.

Ceiling, wall and outdoor lights that are wired into the mains should be installed by a qualified electrician, in line with UK wiring regulations.

If your light takes a bulb, always switch off the power before fitting or changing it, and never exceed the maximum wattage stated for your light. A warm white LED bulb (2700K to 3000K) gives a soft, warm glow. Lights with a built-in LED have no bulb to change, and cordless lamps simply recharge by USB.
