A horizontal bar of warm walnut wood carries a strip of light along its length, sitting on a brushed gold stem and a solid round base. The linear shape spreads an even glow across a work surface rather than lighting one corner.
It is 45cm wide and 45cm tall, and the stem adjusts so the light bar can be angled over a keyboard, notebook or drawing board. The LED is built in and switches on with a press. As the bar is natural wood, the grain varies slightly from lamp to lamp.

Care
Switch the light off and let it cool before cleaning. Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid water, sprays and cleaning products, which can mark metal finishes, wood, fabric, glass and stone.
Natural materials such as alabaster, marble, travertine, wood and rattan vary in colour and pattern, so no two pieces are exactly alike.
Fitting & bulbs
Ceiling, wall and outdoor lights that are wired into the mains should be installed by a qualified electrician, in line with UK wiring regulations.
If your light takes a bulb, always switch off the power before fitting or changing it, and never exceed the maximum wattage stated for your light. A warm white LED bulb (2700K to 3000K) gives a soft, warm glow. Lights with a built-in LED have no bulb to change, and cordless lamps simply recharge by USB.
