    Where a pendant will not fit, this light stays flat to the ceiling: 23.9cm across and only 10.4cm deep, so nobody catches their head on it in a narrow hall, on a landing or under a sloping roof.

    A walnut-coloured wood disc and a gold collar frame a softly glowing diffuser, and the built-in LED spreads an even warm light. It works from your existing wall switch, and a version that dims on a TRIAC (trailing or leading edge) dimmer is also available.

    Care

    Switch the light off and let it cool before cleaning. Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid water, sprays and cleaning products, which can mark metal finishes, wood, fabric, glass and stone.

    Natural materials such as alabaster, marble, travertine, wood and rattan vary in colour and pattern, so no two pieces are exactly alike.
    Fitting & bulbs

    Ceiling, wall and outdoor lights that are wired into the mains should be installed by a qualified electrician, in line with UK wiring regulations.

    If your light takes a bulb, always switch off the power before fitting or changing it, and never exceed the maximum wattage stated for your light. A warm white LED bulb (2700K to 3000K) gives a soft, warm glow. Lights with a built-in LED have no bulb to change, and cordless lamps simply recharge by USB.
