A table lamp base in ash grey ceramic, shaped as a solid arch with a rounded opening at its foot. The simple, arched silhouette gives the lamp an almost architectural quality; topped with a cylindrical drum shade it makes a calm, sculptural light for a sideboard or bedside.

The base is 30cm wide, 12cm deep and 40cm high, with a 15 × 6cm arch opening, and weighs about 2.8kg. It is ceramic and steel, with a metal cap. It takes an E26 bulb (max 15W, not included). The shade is not included; the recommended drum shade is 40cm across and 24cm high. IP20, Class II.

Switch the light off and let it cool before cleaning. Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid water, sprays and cleaning products, which can mark metal finishes, wood, fabric, glass and stone.

Natural materials such as alabaster, marble, travertine, wood and rattan vary in colour and pattern, so no two pieces are exactly alike.

Ceiling, wall and outdoor lights that are wired into the mains should be installed by a qualified electrician, in line with UK wiring regulations.

If your light takes a bulb, always switch off the power before fitting or changing it, and never exceed the maximum wattage stated for your light. A warm white LED bulb (2700K to 3000K) gives a soft, warm glow. Lights with a built-in LED have no bulb to change, and cordless lamps simply recharge by USB.
