A small cylinder of solid blackened oak on a weighted gunmetal base holds a bulb of your choice, so a decorative globe or filament bulb becomes the centrepiece. It suits a desk, shelf or bedside table.

The lamp is 8.6cm wide and 12.4cm tall without a bulb. It is made of stained oak with a gunmetal-plated steel base and has a 3m cable with an in-line dimmer (5–100%). It takes an E26 bulb, max 25W; the bulb is not included. Indoor use, IP20.

Switch the light off and let it cool before cleaning. Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid water, sprays and cleaning products, which can mark metal finishes, wood, fabric, glass and stone.

If your light takes a bulb, always switch off the power before fitting or changing it, and never exceed the maximum wattage stated for your light. A warm white LED bulb (2700K to 3000K) gives a soft, warm glow. Lights with a built-in LED have no bulb to change, and cordless lamps simply recharge by USB.
