A solid cylinder of blackened oak stands on a weighted gunmetal base and holds a flat oval opal LED bulb, which is included. The wide, flattened oval of matte white glass spreads a soft, diffused glow and catches gentle reflections along its rounded edge.

With the bulb fitted, the lamp is 15.9cm wide and 26.4cm tall. It is made of stained oak with a gunmetal-plated steel base and has a 3m cable with an in-line dimmer (5–100%). The bulb is warm 2700K, 540 lumens, CRI 95, rated for 30,000 hours, on an E26 fitting. Indoor use, IP20.

Switch the light off and let it cool before cleaning. Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid water, sprays and cleaning products, which can mark metal finishes, wood, fabric, glass and stone.

Natural materials such as alabaster, marble, travertine, wood and rattan vary in colour and pattern, so no two pieces are exactly alike.

Ceiling, wall and outdoor lights that are wired into the mains should be installed by a qualified electrician, in line with UK wiring regulations.

If your light takes a bulb, always switch off the power before fitting or changing it, and never exceed the maximum wattage stated for your light. A warm white LED bulb (2700K to 3000K) gives a soft, warm glow. Lights with a built-in LED have no bulb to change, and cordless lamps simply recharge by USB.
