A smooth glass globe holds a second, fluted glass shade inside it, so the bulb is softened twice and the light picks up fine vertical lines. Clear glass gives a bright, fresh look; amber glass casts a warmer, mellow glow. Gold-tone fittings and a black cord finish it.
Choose a globe 15cm, 20cm or 25cm across. One E27 LED bulb is included, in warm white or in a version that changes between three light colours using your wall switch (not dimmable). The cord adjusts up to 120cm. It is IP20, for indoor use, and should be hardwired by a qualified electrician.

Care
Switch the light off and let it cool before cleaning. Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid water, sprays and cleaning products, which can mark metal finishes, wood, fabric, glass and stone.
Natural materials such as alabaster, marble, travertine, wood and rattan vary in colour and pattern, so no two pieces are exactly alike.
Fitting & bulbs
Ceiling, wall and outdoor lights that are wired into the mains should be installed by a qualified electrician, in line with UK wiring regulations.
If your light takes a bulb, always switch off the power before fitting or changing it, and never exceed the maximum wattage stated for your light. A warm white LED bulb (2700K to 3000K) gives a soft, warm glow. Lights with a built-in LED have no bulb to change, and cordless lamps simply recharge by USB.
