    A smooth, rounded cream glass shade sits close to the ceiling on a compact dark base, giving a soft, even glow without taking up headroom. The flush design suits lower ceilings, hallways, bedrooms and smaller living spaces.

    Choose 20cm or 28cm across; both stand 16cm high. It takes one E27 bulb and is made from glass and metal, with a warm 3000K light quoted by the maker.

    Care

    Switch the light off and let it cool before cleaning. Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid water, sprays and cleaning products, which can mark metal finishes, wood, fabric, glass and stone.

    Natural materials such as alabaster, marble, travertine, wood and rattan vary in colour and pattern, so no two pieces are exactly alike.
    Fitting & bulbs

    Ceiling, wall and outdoor lights that are wired into the mains should be installed by a qualified electrician, in line with UK wiring regulations.

    If your light takes a bulb, always switch off the power before fitting or changing it, and never exceed the maximum wattage stated for your light. A warm white LED bulb (2700K to 3000K) gives a soft, warm glow. Lights with a built-in LED have no bulb to change, and cordless lamps simply recharge by USB.
