A slim disc shade sits on a brass stem above a round base. A built-in LED panel with a diffuser casts a soft, even glow into the room. A hidden USB port in the lamp lets you charge a phone, even when the light is off, which suits a desk or bedside table.

The lamp is 31cm wide and 41cm tall and weighs 2.3kg, with a 2m black cord. The 13W LED panel gives 600 lumens at 3000K, CRI 83, and is dimmable. It is made from polypropylene, steel, aluminium and acrylic, comes in five colours and takes about five minutes to assemble.

Switch the light off and let it cool before cleaning. Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid water, sprays and cleaning products, which can mark metal finishes, wood, fabric, glass and stone.

Natural materials such as alabaster, marble, travertine, wood and rattan vary in colour and pattern, so no two pieces are exactly alike.

Ceiling, wall and outdoor lights that are wired into the mains should be installed by a qualified electrician, in line with UK wiring regulations.

If your light takes a bulb, always switch off the power before fitting or changing it, and never exceed the maximum wattage stated for your light. A warm white LED bulb (2700K to 3000K) gives a soft, warm glow. Lights with a built-in LED have no bulb to change, and cordless lamps simply recharge by USB.
