A thick, hand-applied glaze melts and flows in the kiln on this small stoneware lamp, setting into soft pools and organic textures. Its shape, a curved back on a round tray, is inspired by historic candle trays, and a large frosted globe bulb gives a warm, soft glow. Every piece is one of a kind.

The lamp is 12.5cm across and 25.5cm tall, and weighs about 0.45kg. It comes in pink or orange glaze, with a mouth-blown E26 LED globe bulb (45W equivalent, 2700K, 540 lumens) included and a 3m fabric cord with an in-line dimmer. This is a limited edition.

Switch the light off and let it cool before cleaning. Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid water, sprays and cleaning products, which can mark metal finishes, wood, fabric, glass and stone.

Natural materials such as alabaster, marble, travertine, wood and rattan vary in colour and pattern, so no two pieces are exactly alike.

Ceiling, wall and outdoor lights that are wired into the mains should be installed by a qualified electrician, in line with UK wiring regulations.

If your light takes a bulb, always switch off the power before fitting or changing it, and never exceed the maximum wattage stated for your light. A warm white LED bulb (2700K to 3000K) gives a soft, warm glow. Lights with a built-in LED have no bulb to change, and cordless lamps simply recharge by USB.
