A slim oak cylinder with a brass-toned end cap hangs on a long black cable, carrying an exposed-filament LED bulb. The light is warm and soft, and the bulb is dimmable, so it suits a bedside, a kitchen worktop or a group of pendants.

The oak holder is 5cm wide and 12.7cm tall, the bulb 9.5cm wide and 13.7cm tall, and the round canopy 12.7cm across and 2.5cm deep, with a 3m cable. The LED bulb is included, at 2200K, 420 lumens, CRI 95, rated for 30,000 hours, on an E26 fitting.

Switch the light off and let it cool before cleaning. Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid water, sprays and cleaning products, which can mark metal finishes, wood, fabric, glass and stone.

Natural materials such as alabaster, marble, travertine, wood and rattan vary in colour and pattern, so no two pieces are exactly alike.

Ceiling, wall and outdoor lights that are wired into the mains should be installed by a qualified electrician, in line with UK wiring regulations.

If your light takes a bulb, always switch off the power before fitting or changing it, and never exceed the maximum wattage stated for your light. A warm white LED bulb (2700K to 3000K) gives a soft, warm glow. Lights with a built-in LED have no bulb to change, and cordless lamps simply recharge by USB.
