A matte white globe bulb sits on a compact, rounded aluminium base in a deep sapphire blue. It can stand on a shelf or desk as a table lamp, or be mounted on the wall as a sconce. The light is warm and ambient, and it dims to warm: as it is turned down, the glow becomes softer and more intimate.

The lamp measures 21.9cm long, 14.9cm wide and 24.1cm tall, with a powder-coated aluminium body and a 3m cable. The LED bulb is included: 25W, 680 lumens, dimmable from 2800K to 2000K, CRI 95, on an E26 fitting. A custom dimmer is built in, shown as a dial on the body.

Switch the light off and let it cool before cleaning. Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid water, sprays and cleaning products, which can mark metal finishes, wood, fabric, glass and stone.

Natural materials such as alabaster, marble, travertine, wood and rattan vary in colour and pattern, so no two pieces are exactly alike.

Ceiling, wall and outdoor lights that are wired into the mains should be installed by a qualified electrician, in line with UK wiring regulations.

If your light takes a bulb, always switch off the power before fitting or changing it, and never exceed the maximum wattage stated for your light. A warm white LED bulb (2700K to 3000K) gives a soft, warm glow. Lights with a built-in LED have no bulb to change, and cordless lamps simply recharge by USB.
