A wide oval bulb of matte white mouth-blown glass on a minimal brass holder and a long plug-in cable, so you can hang a soft, glowing pendant without hardwiring. The bulb dims to warm: as you turn it down, the light shifts from bright white to a warm amber glow.

The bulb is 20.5cm wide and 17cm tall and gives 720 lumens at CRI 95. The cable is 6m long, with 4m to the in-line dimmer, and two wall and ceiling nodes are included for routing. The holder is brass and anodised aluminium, with an E26 fitting; the LED bulb is included.

Switch the light off and let it cool before cleaning. Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid water, sprays and cleaning products, which can mark metal finishes, wood, fabric, glass and stone.

Natural materials such as alabaster, marble, travertine, wood and rattan vary in colour and pattern, so no two pieces are exactly alike.

Ceiling, wall and outdoor lights that are wired into the mains should be installed by a qualified electrician, in line with UK wiring regulations.

If your light takes a bulb, always switch off the power before fitting or changing it, and never exceed the maximum wattage stated for your light. A warm white LED bulb (2700K to 3000K) gives a soft, warm glow. Lights with a built-in LED have no bulb to change, and cordless lamps simply recharge by USB.
