A ribbed opal-glass globe rests on a short cylindrical plinth, giving a soft, diffused glow through the fine ridges of the glass. The small size suits a bedside table, a shelf or a coffee table.

The lamp is 24.5cm tall; the globe is 20cm across and 14.5cm tall, and the plinth is 10cm across and 10cm tall. It takes a G9 bulb (5W, 450 lumens, 2700K), which is not included, and has a dimmer on the cable. Choose a plinth in aged gold or matte black metal, or in green or brown marble. IP20.

Switch the light off and let it cool before cleaning. Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid water, sprays and cleaning products, which can mark metal finishes, wood, fabric, glass and stone.

Ceiling, wall and outdoor lights that are wired into the mains should be installed by a qualified electrician, in line with UK wiring regulations.

If your light takes a bulb, always switch off the power before fitting or changing it, and never exceed the maximum wattage stated for your light. A warm white LED bulb (2700K to 3000K) gives a soft, warm glow. Lights with a built-in LED have no bulb to change, and cordless lamps simply recharge by USB.
