    A black disc shade sits on a slim stem above a translucent base that holds a visible brass gear mechanism. There is no switch: twist the base to turn the light on and adjust the brightness, like winding a watch.

    The lamp is 30cm wide and 42cm tall and weighs 3.8kg. PMMA, genuine brass and steel, in black. The LED is included: 18W, 2700K, CRI 90, 1900 lumens, dimmable through the rotating base.

    Care

    Switch the light off and let it cool before cleaning. Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid water, sprays and cleaning products, which can mark metal finishes, wood, fabric, glass and stone.

    Natural materials such as alabaster, marble, travertine, wood and rattan vary in colour and pattern, so no two pieces are exactly alike.
    Fitting & bulbs

    Ceiling, wall and outdoor lights that are wired into the mains should be installed by a qualified electrician, in line with UK wiring regulations.

    If your light takes a bulb, always switch off the power before fitting or changing it, and never exceed the maximum wattage stated for your light. A warm white LED bulb (2700K to 3000K) gives a soft, warm glow. Lights with a built-in LED have no bulb to change, and cordless lamps simply recharge by USB.
