A sculptural desk lamp on a sloping stem, topped by a small bird figure perched above a cone-shaped reflector. The reflector directs the light downwards onto a desk, shelf or side table, and the tilted posture gives the lamp a lively, playful outline.

The lamp is 61cm along the slant and about 40cm high, on a 22cm round base, and weighs about 6.4kg. It is powder-coated metal in black or white, with a white or brass reflector inside the cone. It takes one G9 LED bulb (5W max, not included), has a 1.5m cable and is rated IP20. Made to order, with a 4–6 week production time.

Switch the light off and let it cool before cleaning. Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid water, sprays and cleaning products, which can mark metal finishes, wood, fabric, glass and stone.

Natural materials such as alabaster, marble, travertine, wood and rattan vary in colour and pattern, so no two pieces are exactly alike.

Ceiling, wall and outdoor lights that are wired into the mains should be installed by a qualified electrician, in line with UK wiring regulations.

If your light takes a bulb, always switch off the power before fitting or changing it, and never exceed the maximum wattage stated for your light. A warm white LED bulb (2700K to 3000K) gives a soft, warm glow. Lights with a built-in LED have no bulb to change, and cordless lamps simply recharge by USB.
