A classic squirrel cage bulb of tinted glass with exposed LED filaments hangs from a slim brass holder on a long plug-in cable. It needs no hard-wiring: the cable is routed across the ceiling and down the wall with two small nodes, and an in-line dimmer sets the brightness.
The holder is 4cm wide and 8cm high; the LED bulb (about 6.5cm across and 14cm high) is included. The cable is 6m long, and two wall/ceiling nodes are supplied.

Care
Switch the light off and let it cool before cleaning. Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid water, sprays and cleaning products, which can mark metal finishes, wood, fabric, glass and stone.
Natural materials such as alabaster, marble, travertine, wood and rattan vary in colour and pattern, so no two pieces are exactly alike.
Fitting & bulbs
Ceiling, wall and outdoor lights that are wired into the mains should be installed by a qualified electrician, in line with UK wiring regulations.
If your light takes a bulb, always switch off the power before fitting or changing it, and never exceed the maximum wattage stated for your light. A warm white LED bulb (2700K to 3000K) gives a soft, warm glow. Lights with a built-in LED have no bulb to change, and cordless lamps simply recharge by USB.
