A slim telescopic stem in a graphite finish lets you set the lamp height with a central clutch, from 125cm to 170cm, and a full-range dimmer controls the light. It takes any E26 bulb, so the light can be tailored to the room.

The lamp has a round base, a braided 3m cable and weighs about 5kg. The recommended bulb is a G200 globe about 20 × 20 × 24cm; colour temperature (2000–2800K), output (720 lumens) and CRI 95 depend on the bulb. Whether a bulb is supplied is not stated.

Switch the light off and let it cool before cleaning. Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid water, sprays and cleaning products, which can mark metal finishes, wood, fabric, glass and stone.

Natural materials such as alabaster, marble, travertine, wood and rattan vary in colour and pattern, so no two pieces are exactly alike.

Ceiling, wall and outdoor lights that are wired into the mains should be installed by a qualified electrician, in line with UK wiring regulations.

If your light takes a bulb, always switch off the power before fitting or changing it, and never exceed the maximum wattage stated for your light. A warm white LED bulb (2700K to 3000K) gives a soft, warm glow. Lights with a built-in LED have no bulb to change, and cordless lamps simply recharge by USB.
